KIESHA B. FREE | Artist
Be Liberated
Kiesha B. Free is a multidisciplinary artist using a variety of creative outlets to explore the truths we carry, expose the illusions we live under and celebrate the love stories we live.
Her creative work touches upon themes of identity, joy, love, conflict and resistance, offering both critique and care. And sometimes, it’s just about the observation of simple beauty we might overlook or perhaps can dream up. Her goal is not just expression, but expansion: to invite others into deeper connection with themselves, their communities, and the stories that shape them.
Through poetry, comedy, media production, and visual arts, Kiesha models vulnerability - being willing to be seen beginning, learning, and growing while pulling inspiration from the blessings and lessons of living Black, queer, female, and free. In her artistic world, Kiesha offers both mirror and lantern - reflecting our experiences and our light back to us with nuance and illuminating pathways toward healing and peace.
