Pop-Up Civic & Educational Film Experience
Project: SELMA Screening in Oakdale, Louisiana
With support from Paramount Pictures & a post-show after-care conversation with Luvvie Ajayi-Jones, Kiesha transformed the gym of Oakdale High School into an interactive learning space.
The goal was to create an accessible space for collective learning, remembrance, and dialogue around pivotal cultural moments - in this case, bringing a powerful cultural film to a space that lacks access to a movie theater.

Project: Hey, Black Seattle! Origin Series
In partnership with director Cedric Prim of Big Rock Studios, Kiesha produced this storytelling series capturing the origins, spirit, and community impact of Hey, Black Seattle!
It exists to document and share the deeper story behind the platform - honoring the people, moments, and intentions that brought it to life. It centers narrative as legacy -preserving not just what was built, but why it mattered in the moment it was created.

Custom Panel Curation
Project: Empowering Black Women in the Workplace
A thoughtfully curated panel experience designed to foster meaningful dialogue within a corporate environment born of the stories and guidance from Black women business leaders. This event bridged cultural depth with organizational context.
It also tapped into Kiesha’s vast network of thinkers and guides surfacing the unique brilliance of people who are the gems you may not yet know.

Intergenerational Live Experience & Youth Showcase
Project: Youth Revolutionary Thought Salon
Kiesha teamed up with community partner Arte Noir to create a space for young people to share the stories of revolutionaries, engage in critical dialogue, and develop their voices through affirmation and reflection with their community.
Through this production she nurtured curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking in the next generation - creating space for them to question, imagine, and articulate their perspectives.

Reflective Cultural Experience & Identity Exploration
Project: Freshly Planted / Deeply Rooted - A Black Diasporic Gathering
A conversation space centered on storytelling, reflection, and shared community connection across the diversity of Black experiences.
With a carefully curated crew of artists, storytellers, and cultural workers, Kiesha fostered expanded understanding across lived experiences, and a grounded feeling of being both seen and held within community. She created fertile ground for nuanced, vulnerable conversation while holding care, complexity, and cultural truth at the center.

Original Music as Cultural Expression
Project: Hey, Black Seattle! Anthem
An original music project created to celebrate unity, identity, and shared cultural pride. Tapping young talent - 12-year-old rapper Skye Dior and singer Kat Stokes, Kiesha created this song for the Hey, Black Seattle! brand to use music as a unifying force - bringing people together through sound, cultural memory and youth expression.
It transforms community into sound - capturing the spirit of connection in a way that can be felt, remembered, and shared.
My Approach
I believe stories are one of the most powerful ways we shape culture. The stories we choose to tell - and the voices we choose to amplify - determine who feels seen, what possibilities people can imagine, and how communities understand themselves.
My cultural storytelling & production work begins with a clear assessment of the current reality we seek to impact, the future state we are dreaming towards, and those who will be affected along the way.
