Her Story
“Mommy, let your dreams be free.”
In 2017, Kiesha B. Free’s young daughter looked her in the eyes and said, “Mommy, let your dreams be free.” That one sentence cracked something open. It was an encouragement from a child’s innocent heart, but also a call to liberation. A wake-up call to step beyond the tightly stitched seams of achievement and instead follow the threads of joy, truth, and soulful alignment.
At the time, Kiesha was a rising star at Microsoft. She was thriving as a partnership negotiator, workplace culture leader, and in-house broadcast talent. As a middle child of five from the Cajun crossroads of Louisiana, Kiesha had long honed the skill of being “in the middle” - seeing multiple perspectives, translating between worlds, and helping people feel seen in rooms where it would’ve been easy to feel invisible. Her astute vision and commitment to academic excellence carried her to Spelman College on full scholarship, then to the publishing halls of People Magazine, and eventually to the world of big tech.
But then something shifted.
Her daughter’s words stirred a truth she could no longer ignore. So, Kiesha took the leap, leaving behind the security of her corporate director role to reclaim time for motherhood, rediscover her own voice, and step fully into a more liberated purpose.
Lover, Liberator, Facilitator
Today, Kiesha takes pride in reflecting the brilliance of everyone around her. Whether she’s moderating a high-impact conversation, hosting a soul-stirring celebration, or sharing her own story, Kiesha shows up as an energetic force, radiating joy and turning gatherings into treasured moments. Her presence helps people reimagine what is possible when we tell the truth, lead with love, and dare to be fully seen.
She shares, “My daughter’s words were a push to reject oppressive limitations. A call to heal, to imagine, and to reconnect to what truly matters.” Now, Kiesha lives those words daily - creating spaces where others can unlock deeper self - awareness, release toxic ambition, and let their dreams be free, too.
