Given that most YOU Better! episodes will involve interviews with other people about their life stories, it's only fair that I start with a bit of sharing about myself as well. So, for Episode 1, I started with “Why.” I also highlighted some of my motivation for creating this show and the joy that teenage Kiesha would feel about me using my gift for conversation in this way. And finally, I discusses why I decided to “give myself” a show and my commitment to you for the type of reflective and care-filled space I intends for this to be.

While I am hyped to join the world of podcasting, I realize there are about a skillion shows out there. But those who know me KNOW how intentional and committed to quality I am in my approach to interviews. I am focused & dedicated to growing in my craft. This is my soul’s work. So really, I’ve already won. I set the launch date around the time of my birthday and I got so into it, I made a "cover story" for myself about it on Instagram. It's on now!
