About the Episode

In this episode, I head over to Australia (virtually!) to connect with Phill Nosworthy, one of the world’s leading corporate educators and mentors, to indulge in mutual curiosity about how it feels to grow and how you compassionately guide yourself when you find yourself at the edge of growth.  We discuss the idea of slowing down to move at the speed of wisdom so you can do less, better. We also talk about how to tackle that gap between all those things you learn and the things you actually put into practice.

Phil's company - the Nosworthy Group - designs and delivers transformative learning experiences for leaders and teams to ignite the power in people for life and work. In this episode, we talk about their work to help leaders learn to “lead themselves” first. This was a big ‘aha’ moment for me about what can (and does) go wrong when we teach new techniques and tools for leading others to people who haven’t yet done some real inner work on themselves.

This conversation is a must for anyone who wants to step up their personal leadership game. I know I have some good notes after this one!
